About our mat classes (Not claimable on private health rebates)

The Pilates mat work is a more challenging form of the method where the exercises are performed on a mat under the influence of gravity without any assistance. They are particularly suitable to those wanting general conditioning. These classes are low intensity but aerobic in nature which is great if you are trying to burn fat and tone up. The flowing aspect and orientation these classes are taught help to reverse gravities effect on the body and release tension in joints. This makes the body more able to purify the blood and improve circulation resulting in the effective removal of fatigue products from your body such as lactic acid.
