About our Mat Classes (Not Claimable on Private Health Rebates)

A group of people are stretching on yoga mats in a gym.

The Pilates Mat work is a more challenging form of the method where the exercises are performed on a mat under the influence of gravity without any assistance. They are suitable to those wanting general conditioning. These classes are low in intensity. There is a beginners and an advanced class. The flowing aspect and orientation of these classes are taught to improve core strength, general body strength using hand weights, resistance band which is also beneficial for bone density, exercises to target balance, breathing and help with body organization.
